Monroe County Hall of Fame

The Monroe County Hall of Fame is a memorial to those that have contributed significantly to the community or country. It was established on July 4th, 1976. It is located on the main level of Fountain Square Mall next to the glass elevator. The hall of fame wall is sponsored by CFC, Inc. and The Herald Times newspaper.

The title plaque reads:

Monroe County Hall of Fame
 Established July 4, 1976
The United States Bicentennial Year

Dedicated to the indiviauls who have
contributed significantly to the history
of our country, and elected by the
people of Monroe County.
