Alfred Kinsey

Alfred C. Kinsey (b. 1894, d. 1956) was a well known scientist and researcher. He was known best for his studies of human sexuality. Prior to this work, he was a respected authority on gall wasps and wasp-plant interactions.

He was a 1993 inductee into the Monroe County Hall of Fame on which his plaque reads "Honors (POST-1946) Zoologist, Researcher, Author and Founder of the Kinsey Institute on the Indiana University campus. He was known world wide for his studies of human sexuality".
