Samuel Dunn

Samuel Dunn, Jr. (Jan. 12, 1784 - Jun. 6, 1849) was the first member of the Dunn family to move to Bloomington.

He married the former Elizabeth Grundy and they had eight children, including George G. Dunn and Felix Clelland Dunn. The family came to Bloomington in 1823 and established a large farm that was on the land that makes much of the current Indiana University campus.

He is buried in Dunn Cemetery.
