Olcott Park

From Bloomingpedia

Olcott Park opened in 1999 in southeast Bloomington. It is borders Jackson Creek Middle School on the south, Jackson Creek itself on the west, and the Stands neighborhood on the north.

The park is 6.5 acres in area. In it are two large athletic fields, a children's playground, a picnic shelter, a paved trail around the fields, and a paved trail through the woods to Sherwood Oaks Park. The paved trail crosses over a creek, and the creekbed is a good site for fossil hunting.
