Marty Hawk

Real estate broker Martha "Marty" Hawk was born in 1942 and currently serves on the Monroe County council. A graduate of Elletsville High School, she was first appointed to the council as a replacement for Don Wagner in September of 1988, was elected to her first full term that same year, and served as council vice-president until 1992 when she lost an election. She later served on the county alcoholic beverage board before running for the council again and winning in 1998.
