IU Bloomington Continuing Studies

IU Bloomington Continuing Studies offered credit and noncredit educational programs for adults in Bloomington, Indiana and the surrounding area. The department was closed in 2011 due to budget cuts.

Programs

  • General Studies Degree Program: an undergraduate degree program at IU Bloomington granted by the School of Continuing Studies
  • Adult Student Resources: services such as seminars and family events for adult undergraduate students at IU Bloomington
  • Lifelong Learning: noncredit courses in the arts, humanities, and sciences
  • Professional Development: noncredit courses that promote career and technology skills
  • Workplace Learning: customized training solutions for businesses and organizations on- and off-site
  • Mini University (in partnership with the IU Alumni Association): an award-winning learning vacation held in June at IU Bloomington
  • Leadership Bloomington-Monroe County (in partnership with the Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce): a seven-month experiential learning program for emerging community leaders
