- 7th - The First United Methodist Church is badly damaged in a fire.
- 24th - Eleven are arrested for illegal handling of liquor when police raid the home of William A. Bass at 903 West 6th Street. All but one are African-Americans.
The Harris Flouring Mill in Ellettsville is torn down. It had stood for nearly 70 years.
