Work begins on a horse racing track on Frank E. Worley's farm, just south of Ellettsville.
Dr. McPheeter's house on the northeast corner of The Square is torn down to make room for the new Odd Fellows Building.
The W. J. Allen room on the north side of the square, last used by Wicks' Bee Hive, is rented by Hemp Wilson for a general house-furnishing store.
Ira Batman buys the 500-acre Boultinghouse farm in Benton Township from W.H. Mesenkop for $5,000.
- 23rd - The Progress Building, on the corner of The Square opposite the Fee Building, burns to the ground.
