Monday nights, two shows, 7:30 and 10:15, tickets are available by credit card reservation, $4.00, (812)339-3460. Saturdays have also been added to the line-up. Tickets are available through the number above and, for the Saturday show, are $7.00.
Every Thursday afternoon is home to a unique Jazz show, Jazz Fables, featuring such greats as David Baker, Dominic Spera, Al Cobine, great I.U. faculty, and many great invited guests. Every Thursday night, Jazz Fables is followed by Karaoke night, which is usually sold out.
The Ryder Film Series was hosted by Bear's each Saturday afternoon, Sunday night, Tuesday night, and early Wednesday. It shows films that are on the cutting edge. Every Wednesday night, Bear's offers some local alternative music.
Bear's Place offers a great menu and drink specials, which include the world-famous Hairy Bear and his younger sister, the Hairy Beaver. Bear's Place also sells tee shirts for $12 each.
