|22nd - A blizzard sweeps over the city, leaving drifts of snow two to four feet deep.
The Waldron, Hill & Buskirk Spoke Factory building on south Washington Street is torn down.
- 5th - Raleigh Bell drowns while swimming in the lower lake at the Water Works.
- J. W. Shaw, who ran a grocery seven miles southeast of Bloomington, sells it to Charles Fyffe.
- The Daily Student changes its name to the Indiana Daily Student
